Travel Fee:
$35 weekdays until 5pm
$40 weekdays after 5pm
$45 weekends
*New clients receive a $5 discount on the travel fee.
For service beyond Santa Barbara local area, please call for quote.

Notarization Fee:
$15 per signature
The signature fee is set by the State of California.

Loan/Escrow Signing Fee:
Variable, please call for quote.

Payment is due at signing.
I accept credit cards, checks, Venmo & cash.

All signers must be present in person
Every signer must have proper photo identification (*see complete list below), must be completely able to understand the significance of the document, and must sign of their own free will
Document must be completely filled in, no blank spaces (except client signature & notarization section)
By law, CA notaries cannot give legal advice - please be sure to speak with your attorney or other advisor and get answers to any questions you may have BEFORE you meet me for the signing!

how to be prepared

My goal is to provide fast, courteous, and hassle-free service to every client! When the identification and documents meet the requirements in the Your Responsibility section above, each signature takes approximately 10 minutes.

*Acceptable Photo ID's
1. Photo identification must be valid (not expired and not temporary) and can include:

CA driver's license or non-driver ID (such as Senior ID) from CA Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
US passport

2. Additional forms of ID can be accepted if they are valid (not expired and not temporary) AND contain photo,
signature, serial number and physical description, including:

Driver's license or non-driver ID from another US state
Driver's license issued by Mexico or Canada
Valid passport or consular identifiication from signer's country of citizenship
Employee ID card from any state, county or city agency or office in CA
US military ID that contains all the required elements (e.g. not the CAC)
ID card issued by a federally recognized tribal government
